To Be, Rather Than to Seem

"Vernal" Art Show: A Culmination of Year's Work

The High School Art Show, Vernal, took place last night in the Bailey Family Center for the Arts. The celebration included presentations from AP Art & Design students and gallery viewing sessions. Visual arts teacher Ms. Lima was especially excited to showcase her students’ work since last year’s Art Show was unfortunately canceled. She says, “Displaying student work not only affirms their growth as artists, but it provides the opportunity to learn from each other and appreciate their peers' work as well. Even more important is the sense of community that the opening night provides; seeing all our Academy community come together to celebrate student achievement is the highlight of the year for me. We could not be prouder of all of the student artists this year!”
