Sixth Grade Class Ignites Their Faith at Focus 11

The Focus 11 Program was first introduced in the Archdiocese of Detroit in 1989. It was based on several studies that showed that most priest and religious first thought about ministry at about age eleven and then had that thought reinforced during their junior year in high school. Today, the Focus 11 program in the Diocese of St. Petersburg has grown into a day that the 6th graders never forget!

From religious keynote speakers, to games, poster contests, praise music and small groups, the Focus 11 field trip got the AHN middle school students excited about their faith. Each student got the chance to learn about religious life and what it means to answer the call that God has for each one of them.
