The artwork of AP Studio Art and Design student Katelyn C. A'20 was featured at the 14th Congressional District and Next Generation High School Art Competition presented by the Tampa Museum of Art. The exhibition showcased exemplary work created by high school students with students competing for two top prizes. Katelyn recently found out that her painting titled “Vietnam Streets” won one of those coveted prizes--the Congressional Choice Award! Her artwork will continue to represent the district in the National Congressional High School Art Competition and will hang in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for one year. Additionally, she and her art teacher Ms. Lima will receive a trip to Washington, D.C. to attend the National Awards Ceremony in June 2020.🤞🏼Congratulations on this huge honor!
