To Be, Rather Than to Seem

HS Girls Shine in Student-Directed Showcase

AHN's performing arts students worked tirelessly to plan and host a student-directed performance series that showcased dancing, singing and acting. The series included three shows: “Unplugged," “So You Think You Can Dance?" and “The Spoon, The Apple, & The Book.” The talent during all three nights was truly amazing. Maeve M. A’22 and senior Riley S. led their student-directed show, "Unplugged." The event was an open mic where students signed up to show off their musical talents to the Academy community. Over the course of the night, audience members enjoyed more than 25 talented singing acts.

"Unplugged" Performance

“So You Think You Can Dance?” was a dance competition coordinated by Bella B. A’22 and Lexi R. A’21 featuring AHN students and several special performances from local dance companies.

So You Think You Can Dance?

“The Spoon, The Apple, & The Book” was a one-act play written and directed by Amelia C. A’21 that was awarded the highest rating of “Superior” at the Florida District Thespian Festival last May.
