Academy’s volleyball team won the Class 4A region final championship with a dominating sweep over previously unbeaten Weeki Wachee. The Jags are headed to the state Final Four! Click here to read more about the state-bound team.

Swimming and Diving

AHN's swimming and diving team began their state series run by winning their 13th consecutive district title in dominating fashion: winning all three relays, winning four of nine individual events, qualifying every swimmer and two divers for regions, and outscoring the second place team by 347 points (AHN-635, Robinson-288). Top three finishers included:

Cross Country

The cross country team placed third overall and qualified for the regional championship meet in Brooksville. Seniors Maddie M. and Maddie R. placed in the top ten while sophomore sensation Abigail C. placed 11^th overall. Congratulations!

Crew

The Academy crew team organized and participated in the very first, "Head of the Headless Oarsman" scrimmage on Saturday, October 31st. Competition has been a challenge for our rowers because of Covid but they have kept practicing in singles and pairs. Five other area schools joined the competition: Hillsborough High School, Berkeley, Tampa Prep, Tampa Catholic and Team Tampa (city team).
