To Be, Rather Than to Seem

AHN Welcomes Back HS Girls for Orientation

It’s been a long, fun summer, but we are extremely excited to have our high school girls back on campus! Today the Academy faculty and staff welcomed 122 freshmen, 127 sophomores, 100 juniors, and 115 seniors for orientation. New students had time to mingle with returning students, joining in on the tradition of singing the alma mater, forming a trust circle, and breaking into small groups for a chance to get to know each other better.

The whole day was filled with sisterhood events that help them get acclimated to being back at school and being back at Academy. It helps to start the year on a positive note. Specifically this year, the girls are really focused on our theme which is “Embracing traditions and celebrating our sisterhood”. All-school orientation has been a long-standing tradition that celebrates having the whole school community together in a fun and energetic environment.

We can't wait for another great school year!
