Head coach Bill Shaffer and Brooke B. ’24 were named Florida Dairy Farmers 2A coach and swimmer of the year! At the state meet, Brooke earned silver as a member of the 200 medley relay and gold in the 400 free relay, 200 freestyle, and 100 backstroke, with each gold medal performance setting a new school record.

Under Coach Shaffer’s guidance, the team earned AHN’s first state championship in the sport this fall. Shaffer coached the team to three consecutive state runner-up trophies from 2016-2018. In 2020, Shaffer was selected by the NFHS Coaches Association as the 2018-2019 Coach of the Year. Congratulations, Brooke and Coach Shaffer!
