Emmy Martin A'14 won the Florida State Golf Association's Women’s Amateur Championship, held in Bradenton in June. Georgia R. A'20, a Wake Forest golf commit, made it to the semifinal round--the only junior player to do so. 

Martin graduated from Texas Christian University, where she broke the school record with a 72.9 season stroke average. She has started a nonprofit, Played With Heart, in the hopes of equipping young girls with all they need to play golf. Martin will compete in additional amateur tournaments over the summer and plans to turn pro later this year.
