Since we were unable to hold our Grades 9-11 Honors Assembly in the spring, honorees were announced during a special Advisory presentation. Highlights included Dr. Carson Dobrin being named Teacher of the Year. Nominated by students, the Teacher of the Year best exemplifies the words and teachings of Blessed Marie Rose, calling on all of us to cast fire upon the Earth. This teacher is willing to go the extra mile, has a desire to motivate each student, and has a fire to grow professionally and spiritually with an understanding of what it takes to build a community. The following young women were voted Student of the Year by their classmates for most exemplifying the ideals and values of the Academy of the Holy Names: Qemamu R. (Junior), Laura Caroline J. (Sophomore), and Julia L. (Freshman). You can view the full awards presentation here: https://rb.gy/tywm4z
