4 for 4: All Fall Sports Teams Win Districts!

AHN's high school volleyball, golf, cross country and swimming & diving teams all won districts!

Our varsity volleyball team earned the title of 4A-District 7 champion as well 4A-Region 2 champion. The team advanced to the state final 4 but fell short to Sante Fe High School in the state semifinal. Congratulations to head coach Randy Thomas, his staff and the team on an amazing postseason.

The golf team captured the 1A-District 9 team championship at Rogers Park Golf Course in Tampa. Senior Haley A. shot a personal best, finishing in 6th place, and senior Georgia R. earned the title of individual district champion with a score of two over par. The team placed second at the region tournament, and Georgia R. placed first, individually. Congratulations to Coach Kumka and the team.

Our high school cross country team finished 1st at the 2A-District 5 championship meet. Individually, senior Megan H. earned the honor of district champion. The team then went on to win the 2A-Region 3 title, with Megan H. coming away as region champion. Big congrats to Coach Rodriguez, his staff and the team on a fantastic season.

AHN's swimming & diving team captured its 12th straight district title. During a rebuilding year, the Jaguars dominated the meet by scoring 672 points over 2nd place Tarpon Springs’ 251 points. The young Jaguars advanced every swimmer and diver in each event to the region meet and won its 10th straight 2A-Region 2 swim championship. The team placed 4th at states.
