To Be, Rather Than to Seem

Students Raise Funds for Children Battling Cancer

The Academy held our 8th annual Cut for a Cure, benefiting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Students raised money and shaved their heads to pay tribute to any child battling cancer. As a team, $30,550 was raised this year, bringing the eight-year total to more than $200,000 for pediatric cancer research. Thank you to everyone who donated and participated! Shout out to Coach Doyle, Mr. Trueman and Mrs. Fishman for showing support by shaving their heads as well.
