AHN's middle school students were treated to a surprise assembly as National League Rookie of the Year Pete Alonso A'09 was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Several of his teachers and classmates were in the audience, and former teachers Glenda Secrest and Coach Doyle shared their favorite memories of Alonso. He told the students, “The people here want to get you to be the best person that you can be here and now. … They want to challenge you so you guys can eventually become who you want to be.” Our students will never forget this day!
