Our middle school boys and girls track & field teams finished 1st overall in the Florida West Coast League! This is the first time in school history in which both teams have earned the title of league champions in the same season and the second consecutive year the girls team placed 1st. Shout out to Diego A., Brian S. and Austin A. for several 1st place finishes in a variety of events throughout the season. For the girls, outstanding performances include Caitlin K. and Avery M. in the mile and 800 runs; Mia D. and Scarlett O. in the 60 and 100M sprints; Avery W. and Mia D. in the 200M sprint; Maddie G., Scarlett O., and Mia D. in the running long jump; Avery W., Kate A. and Scarlett O. in the shot put; and Reina L. and Scarlett O. in the discus.
