Our Elementary School students met their buddies and worked together on their first buddy activity of the year. They read the book “Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon,” which is a heartwarming story about a confident little girl who wins over the school bully. This book illustrates the importance of being true to yourself and perfectly introduced the Elementary School’s theme for the year: To Be Confident. Older students then helped their little buddies make a shield of strength that highlighted the character traits that make them special.
