To Be, Rather Than to Seem

4th-Graders Investigate!

Our 4th-grade scientists investigated how water reacts on different surfaces. They used an eyedropper to test what happens when water falls on a paper towel, wax paper, writing paper and aluminum foil. Then, they drew and described their findings. It was helpful for students to use some of their new science vocabulary words such as absorb, repel, waterproof and bead. Science is pretty cool!
