Allergy season is here, and we are seeing a high volume of students in the school clinic complaining of allergy symptoms. If your child is suffering from seasonal allergies, please make sure to treat his/her allergies at home with any prescribed allergy medication before he/she arrives at school. If he/she is using allergy eye drops, please administer them at home in the morning; you may bring the eye drops to school to be administered in the clinic during the day to help with those awful itchy eyes that seem to be the biggest irritant at this time. You will need to fill out and upload the appropriate medication authorization form if medication is to be administered at school. Parents/guardians may be asked to either bring medicine to school or pick up their child if the student is not functioning well in the classroom. Feel free to contact Patti Alberts if you have questions or if there is anything we can do to help your child make it through the school day smoothly.
