To Be, Rather Than to Seem

Mission Trips

During Rose Project Mission Week, students and staff focus on the Gospel mission through service-learning projects and experiences. Being the presence of Christ around Tampa Bay, the states, or abroad, students serve with people and partner organizations who work every day to improve the lives of those who are in poverty and/or marginalized by society.

Since 1999, the Academy of the Holy Names has sponsored mission trips for high school students to locations ranging from the heart of Tampa to the Dominican Republic. Mission trips take place between the third and fourth quarters. The entire school community supports the trips through initiatives including prayer, fundraising and collections. Rose Project Mission Week proves to be life-changing for all involved.
