Create Your Own Minecraft® Animation! In this camp from Youth Digital, kids learn kids how to create awesome looking animated movies using their favorite Minecraft® characters. As they develop their project, kids use the same techniques as the pros including the use of Facial Rigs to give their characters hilarious, or dramatic facial expressions, Walk Cycles for realistic movements, Multiple Cameras for dramatic action sequences or sweeping story telling! Music and sound effects add final polish to complete an awesome 3D animated movie!

Kids learn the most important principles of 3D animation including squash and stretch, anticipation, staging, timing, and exaggeration. Kids learn to use a professional open-source 3D animation software called Blender to create beautiful animated movies.

At the end of camp, kids will walk away with their own fully animated 3D Minecraft® movie that they can share with friends and online! They’ll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges so they can keep using their new skills!

This camp will have the opportunity to swim on Friday if weather and time permits.
