Elite Flag Football Skills Camp

With the growing concern of head injuries involved in tackle football, a trend has begun in which athletes are introduced to the same concepts involved in the non-contact sport of flag football. The goal for this five-day camp is to expose our campers to a wide range of skills associated with flag football, including:

  • Correct Football Stances
  • Proper Flag Pulling Techniques
  • Ways to Avoid Having Your Flag Pulled
  • Route Running/Receiving
  • Route Coverage
  • Offensive and Defensive Concepts

Additional emphasis will be placed on the following:

  • The Importance of Being a Great Teammate
  • How to be a Leader
  • Ways to Model Sportsmanship

All campers will be required to be picked up no later than 11:30 a.m.

AHN athletic camps are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Elite Football Camps, which will be directed by TJ Lane. Coach Lane is a graduate of Jesuit High School, where he was a two-year starter on both the football and baseball teams. He went on to attend Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Penn., where he was an all-conference wide receiver and center fielder. Coach also served as wide receiver/assistant head coach for the four-time state champion Plant High School football team from 2004-2014. Coach Lane has a passion for working with youth. In addition to teaching in the Bay Area, he is currently the acting commissioner for the Under the Lights - Under Armour Flag Football League.
