Dear FIRSTNAME,

Let us be reminded to show our Academy students support as they prepare for end-of-year programs, performances and exams. As much as it is an exciting time, it can also be a stressful one for our young people. We offer this prayer to help them stay focused and centered on the tasks at hand in these last weeks of the school year.

Holy Spirit, Giver of all good gifts, enter into my mind and heart. Give me the gift of knowledge and the grace to use it wisely. Help me in all my endeavors. Give me perseverance and fortitude. Help that I may remember what I learn and recall it when necessary. Guide me in the classroom. Our Lady of Good Studies, pray for me. Amen.

Summer on Bayshore

Summer camp is almost here! Come join Mrs. Bell at the Corky Crafts camp and make fun, exciting arts and crafts. Looking for something outdoors? The Archery 101 camp is now open to all students in grades 4th-8th!

Don't Forget to Pick Up Student Medication

If your child has any medication in the clinic, please stop by to pick it up before the end of the school year. Any medications left in the clinic after Friday, June 8th will be discarded. Please call the clinic at 813 839-5371, ext. 342 with any questions.

Clothes Closet Donations

Please note that items donated to the Clothes Closet should be gently used school uniforms only. The Clothes Closet does not accept club T-shirts, dingy or damaged items (rips, stains, etc.).

Let's Fly a Kite!

Mrs. Pantelis' second grade class is learning about the air in science, and what better way to do so then by flying kites! The kids took to the four-square courts to see the effects the air had on their hand-made projects. Happy to have a break from the rain!

9th-11th Grade Parents: Please Join Us Tomorrow, Friday, June 1st For Our HS Awards Ceremony. It Will Take Place In The Brady Center at 1:40 p.m. Parking Is Available in the Garage.

Speech and Debate Goes to Nationals

Over Memorial Day weekend, seven members of the AHN Speech and Debate team traveled to Washington D.C. with coach Jaime Meyer to compete in the 2018 National Tournament of the National Catholic Forensic League. Members included Sophia C., Mei L., Audrey G., Isabella S., Megan D., Kelsey B., and Chloe M. On Sunday, Mei L. advanced to the Octo-Finals and placed 48th out of over 200 competitors in her category. On June 17th-22nd, Hira K. will compete at Nationals for the National Speech and Debate Association. Congratulations to Mei and good luck, Hira!

Freshman Lacrosse Player On All-Region Team

Varsity lacrosse freshman, Jessica R., was named All-Region Team Defender by the Tampa Lax Report! Their website states, "We reviewed our own Player of the Week awards to come up with what we feel are the best players from districts 14, 15, 16, and 17.
