Weekly eNews: ´╗┐December 7, 2017

Dear FIRSTNAME,

I would like to extend my congratulations to the 3rd-graders for being the first class to reach 100% participation in the Parent Annual Fund. This is a huge accomplishment.

With your support, the Academy can expand our financial aid budget, integrate new technologies, enhance our programs, and provide professional development for our faculty. Our goal is 100% parent participation, and many classes are getting close, so whether you give a little or give a lot, your support is most appreciated.

Sincerely,

Art Raimo

AHN President

New MS Clubs Starting in January

Through the use of a student interest survey, we recognized that there is a strong interest among the middle school students in after-school clubs. Taking all of their wonderful ideas into consideration, we will be rolling out three after-school clubs starting in January. There are no costs to attend the clubs of your choice, and new clubs will start at the end of this first 6-week cycle. It is our hope to continue having clubs throughout the year and to mix up the topics in order to provide a variety of enrichment opportunities. Below is a list of the three clubs that will be offered starting in January. Click here for descriptions of each club, meeting dates and sign up information.

Four high school students, Tabitha R. (A'18), Chanita B. (A'19), Caroline L. (A'20), and Casey M. (A'20) attended the Student Diversity Leadership Conference in California last week. SDLC is a multiracial, multicultural gathering of student leaders from across the U.S. that focuses on self-reflecting, forming allies, and building community.
