A Bright Future for the Class of 2025

A Bright Future for the Class of 2025

On May 20, 2025, the Academy of the Holy Names High School proudly celebrated the graduation of 119 accomplished young women during a memorable commencement ceremony at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa. Their achievements reflect years of integrity and leadership, each shaped by a commitment to academic excellence, faith, service, and personal growth. Among the graduates were 14 "lifers," students who began their Academy journey in pre-kindergarten or kindergarten.

Collectively, the Class of 2025 embodies the spirit and strength of the Academy’s mission. Eighty-three students were inducted into the National Honor Society, and 75% graduated with a GPA of 4.2 or higher, earning distinction as honors graduates. Two were recognized as National Merit Finalists, placing in the top 0.5% of students nationally on the 2023 PSAT, and four were named Tampa Tribune Scholars, an honor awarded to the top 3% of each school’s graduating class.

In living out the Gospel and the SNJM Core Values, the Class of 2025 gave a cumulative total of over 25,317 hours in service to religious, civic, and social causes throughout the Tampa Bay area.

As they prepare to begin their next chapters, these graduates carry with them academic and personal achievements as well as the values and sisterhood that define the Academy experience. We congratulate the Class of 2025 and look forward with confidence and pride as they bring their talents, determination, and compassion into the world.
