Will my child(ren) have playtime?
Yes, we strongly believe our students need time to stretch their limbs and have some fun. We will provide play time inside or outside, weather permitting.
Will my child(ren) have time to complete their homework?
Yes, each grade level is provided time and space to work on homework assignments. We also have assistants and volunteers to help guide students that may need additional help on assignments. If your student(s) does not have any homework, he or she will participate in quiet time, using the time to read, color, or take part in additional quiet activities provided in Extended Day. No outside activities will be allowed.
What will my child(ren) do if they do not have any homework?
Each student will be provided an opportunity to read, color, or participate in quiet activities while other students finish snacks and homework.
Are electronics allowed?
Since Extended Day is an extension of the school day, we will continue with school rules. School-issued devices will be allowed upon adult approval. Phones will be checked in at the beginning of Extended Day and may be received once signed out. Middle school students will receive their phones at 5:30 pm daily. If you need to reach your child before then, please call the school.
Can my child(ren) bring their own toys to play with during Extended Day?
No, toys will not be allowed at Extended Day. If toys are brought to Extended Day, your student will be asked to put them in his or her backpack and not bring them back. If a student continues to bring toys or outside activities to Extended Day, the staff will contact the parents to make them aware and alert the administration when needed. School supplies such as pencils, crayons, erasers, scissors, and glue sticks are provided daily by Extended Day.
Is a snack offered or should I pack my child(ren) their own?
One pre-packaged snack is provided daily; the student and parent may decide if they would like to pack a specific snack or additional snack for their child.
What kind of activities will my child(ren) be doing?
Every child in grades Pre-K to 4th grade will participate in homework, enrichment time, and individual activity sheets. Each Friday we offer a variety of games in lieu of an activity or homework to all grade levels. Students in 5th-8th grades are provided homework and social time as well as outside playtime.
When is the best time to pick up my child(ren)?
All students must be picked up by 6:00 pm, but pick-up may begin at 3:30 pm.
How do I pick up my child(ren) from Extended Day?
Pick-up will occur on North Drive; enter through Bayshore Blvd., and proceed to North Dive. Use PikMyKid to alert the school you have arrived, and stay in your car. Extended Day staff will bring your child(ren) to the car.

I cannot make it to pick-up. Can I send someone else?
