Community Events
At the Academy, we are more than just a school; we're a close-knit community that likes to have fun. Our community events are where we come together to learn, celebrate, and connect.
We believe that moments of togetherness not only enhance our educational experience but also empower us to become well-rounded individuals who are not just academically strong but socially aware and culturally enriched. Below are a few of our annual community events that invite our students and their families to campus to enjoy so much of what the Academy has to offer.
Special Events
AHN Golf Tournament
Tee up for a day of swings, smiles, and support! The AHN Golf Tournament is your chance to have fun and make a big impact. Join us on the green, and let's drive education forward together.
By the bay gala
Get ready for an enchanting evening ! This year's By the Bay gala will take place on April 6, 2024 at the Tampa Marriott Water Street. The event, featuring an exciting live and silent auction, is your invitation to help us raise the bar for the Academy. Join us for a night of glamour, giving, and making dreams come true.
Trunk or Treat
Get ready for a spooktacular time at Trunk or Treat, a Halloween event designed especially for AHN's littlest ghouls and goblins from Pre-K to 4! Hosted by the Mothers Association, this event is an afternoon packed with more fun than a cauldron full of candy.
Christmas Mass & Tree Lighting
The Academy community comes together every year to celebrate the Advent Season. The event includes evening Mass followed by festive student performances, pictures with Santa and the lighting of the tallest Christmas tree on Bayshore.
Children's Gasparilla Parade
All grade levels are invited to participate in the annual Children's Gasparilla Parade, one of Tampa's most treasured traditions! Come join your AHN family for a community picnic followed by a fun-filled walk down Bayshore.
Chain Reaction
Spearheaded by AHN students, Chain Reaction is a field day fundraiser inspired by a classmate's strength in her battle with cancer. The event launched to increase awareness about pediatric cancer and fundraise for the Cailinstrong Foundation, in memory of Academy 8th-grader Cailin Cannella.
Spike & Splash
Join the Academy High School's swimming & diving and volleyball teams as we compete in our annual Spike & Splash event. Spike & Splash is a night of spirit, competition, and camaraderie, with all proceeds being split evenly between breast cancer and pediatric cancer research and awareness.
Grandparents Day
Grandparents Day at the Academy is a heartwarming celebration of the special bond between generations. It's a day when our students proudly welcome their beloved grandparents into our school community, sharing cherished moments, creating memories, and bridging the generation gap with love and joy. Together, they embark on a journey of appreciation, learning, and laughter, strengthening the ties that bind family and school.
