On April 28, 2025, the Academy of the Holy Names honored its 2024 2A State Champion Swim & Dive Team with a ring ceremony celebrating their historic season. The Jaguars claimed their third consecutive state title, along with their 17th straight district and 15th straight region titles, making them the only girls swim and dive program in Hillsborough County history to win a state championship.

The Academy of the Holy Names is proud to announce the appointment of Robbie Shaffer as the new head coach of our Swim & Dive program. Coach Shaffer, a dedicated and experienced swimmer and coach, takes over the reins from his father, the late Bill Shaffer, who built a legacy of success and camaraderie within the program.
