Our facilities crew and several administrators have worked exhaustively the past two days to assess and start to prepare our campus for a return to school this week. At this time, we are pleased to report that the Academy has regained full power, and most debris and damage have been restored so that operations can be resumed. However, there is still more work to be done on campus and in light of the ongoing recovery efforts across our community, we recognize that many of our faculty, staff, and families remain displaced or without power. To allow additional time for everyone to return safely and be fully available, the Academy will remain closed on Monday, 10/14 and will reopen on Tuesday, 10/15.
Please note the following updated schedule for this week:
Monday, Oct 14: No school – classes and all extracurriculars canceled; Open to families from 9:00-1:00 to use playground and electricity as noted above. Mass will be held at 9:00 am in the Chapel of Blessed Marie Rose.
Tuesday, Oct 15: Reopen for normal school day. Extracurriculars resume.
Wednesday, Oct.16: HS Mission Day planned for Wednesday is TBD; Plans to cancel or reschedule will be forthcoming
Friday, Oct.18: Full instructional day (previously scheduled for a half day)
Friday, Oct.18: Trunk or Treat is TBD; information will be forthcoming
