To become an official applicant and gain access to your application checklist, please complete the online form within the admissions portal and submit the non-refundable $75 application fee.

Come experience our beautiful campus through one of our visit opportunities. We want this process to feel meaningful and manageable for your family. Whether you choose a personal tour or our Open House, just one visit is all it takes to feel the spirit of our community.

• Shadow Day (applicants only): We encourage all prospective high school students to spend a day alongside a current student, attending classes, meeting faculty, and experiencing daily life at the Academy. Shadow Days offer an authentic glimpse into our high school community and help students imagine themselves as a part of it.

• Private Tour (applicants only): Enjoy a personalized visit with our Director of High School Admissions. A private tour gives you the chance to see our classrooms in action, ask questions, and experience the spirit of the high school at AHN.

• Open House on October 19 (open to all): During your visit, you’ll hear from current students, meet faculty, and connect with athletics coaches to experience the Academy community firsthand.

No matter which option you choose, each visit is an opportunity to experience life at the Academy and help you imagine your family as part of our community.

We encourage all families to apply for our financial aid program. We strive to partner with families to ensure that an Academy education is accessible to all qualified students.

Admissions and financial aid processes are independent of each other. The Academy of the Holy Names uses FACTS to assist in collecting and analyzing financial data submitted by families.

In order to qualify for financial aid, you must also apply for Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (Step Up for Students), and submit a financial aid application through FACTS by December 1. Need-based financial aid is a grant, not a loan.

Note: While we will review financial aid applications submitted after December 1, please know that priority consideration is given to applications received by the deadline.

As part of the admissions process, all 9th grade applicants are required to take the HSPT entrance exam. The exam will be offered the following Saturdays on AHN's campus:

• December 6, 2025

• December 13, 2025

Applicants will select their preferred date in advance through their admissions portal checklist. Since Academy includes a written response portion of the exam, applicants are encouraged to take the test on campus at AHN.

As part of the application, we require all applicants to submit an official transcript. The transcript must include:

• Report cards from the past two years and most current 8th grade semester showing academic progress and achievements.

• Standardized test scores from the past two years to provide insight into academic aptitude and potential.

• Teacher recommendations from current math and English teachers who can speak to the student’s strengths, growth areas, and character. (These should be submitted after the first nine weeks of school)

All required documents must be submitted through the online admissions portal.
