High School transfer Applicants
Notice to potential transfer students to Academy of the Holy Names High School in the rising Classes of 2026, 2027, 2028 for the 2025-26 school year:
We welcome transfer applicants to the high school division, based on availability. The window to apply for a spot in any of the rising grades 10, 11 & 12 closes on February 1. Notification will be provided to all applicants about admission status on a rolling basis for students with completed applications in mid February. Any student that applies beyond the February 1 deadline will be directed to reapply for admission in the 2026-27 school year. Applications for the 2025-26 are now open.
Transfer Student Qualifications and Process:
For those considering mid-year admission, we encourage applications by December 1. To be eligible for evaluation, transfer students must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Standing: Be in good academic standing at the previous institution.
- Standardized Testing: Provide standardized testing demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning.
- Attendance and Discipline: Exhibit exemplary attendance, and disciplinary records must be impeccable.
- Placement Testing: Be willing to take any placement testing and/or remediation guided by the High School office.
- Personal Interview: Schedule a personal interview with the Placement Committee.
