Program Highlights

Catholic identity

Our Catholic identity, rooted in a deep faith in God and a commitment to nurturing students' spiritual growth, is reflected in our curriculum. We integrate Catholic values and moral teachings into all subjects, combining intellectual growth with ethical responsibility.

Academic rigor

The Academy provides an enriching academic program that prioritizes advanced critical thinking and executive functioning skills, seamlessly integrated across core and elective subjects. Our students emerge as confident, engaged learners, excellently prepared for their high school journey.

Coursework

Our middle school coursework offers a well-rounded and comprehensive educational experience. Students enroll in religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, world language (Spanish in 5th and 6th; Spanish or Latin in 7th and 8th), physical education, and the arts.

advisory program

In middle school, the Developmental Designs approach takes shape through our Advisories.  Students are welcomed into CPRs (Circles of Power and Respect) to build healthy, whole-hearted connections with their peers.  Advisory teachers provide guidance on goal setting, character development, growth mindset, and pro-social habits.

The Arts

An AHN education embraces the arts. Students in Grade 5 and Grade 6 participate in music, drama, and visual arts classes in state-of-the-art studios and rehearsal spaces guided by expert instruction.  Students in Grade 7 and Grade 8 choose their Fine Arts electives, which may include concert band, drama, visual arts, coding, photography, yearbook, and journalism.

facilities

Students thrive within an enriching environment that boasts a wealth of campus resources. They experience an upgraded learning atmosphere in our newly renovated classrooms. Beyond the classroom, they shine on the auditorium stage and enjoy fully equipped athletic facilities, including a swimming pool.
