Goals
ThisMaster Planwas formulated to support the strategic plan set forthby theAcademy of
theHolyNamesLeadershipTeam.During theDiscoveryPhase, theAHNLeadershipTeam
andSchool Community identified the following key goals that shouldbemet to achieve this
plan:
• Creation of a dedicated Arts Center that encompasses the performing arts, music and
thevisual arts.ThisCenterwill provide ample space, storage and tools for a full program
tobe implemented across all grades.
• Additional parking capacity on campus without the loss of the existing tennis and
basketball courts.
• Reconfigurationof theexistingeducational spaces thatwillprovide teachersandstudents
agreaterdegreeof collaboration, self-directedstudy,peer-to-peer learningopportunities,
andwill allow students towork in a variety of different sized learning groups.
• Constructionof amorewelcoming entrance to the chapel for themain entry.
• Creationof aHeritageCenter thatwill present thehistoryof the school to students and
visitors through the exhibition of historical documents and artifacts from the Schools’
archives.
• Improvements to the Brady Center that will allow for amore flexible dining space and
provide for greater capacity through the constructionof a servery.
• Consolidation and expansionof theMiddle School.
• Expansionof theHigh School.
