her professional career with the U.S.
Intelligence Community, starting first
with two summers as an intern with
the Office of Naval Intelligence while
pursuing her undergraduate degree at
FloridaStateUniversity.Aftercompleting
her Master of Business Administration
at the University of Tampa, Corless
moved toWashington, D.C., inOctober
2001 to pursue a professional career
with the IC. She joined the office of the
director of national intelligence in 2006
to work with the National Intelligence
Council—known as the “think tank” for
the IC—specifically with an office that
provides ICsupport toU.S. government
