  • Required Athletic Forms

    Prior to the beginning of athletics practice and tryouts, the Athletics Office must have completed EL2, EL3 and Concussion and Heat Related Illness forms on file. This applies to both middle school and high school student-athetes. Forms may be turned in to either the head coach or athletic director Kevin Vargas prior to or on the date of the first scheduled practice or tryout. Without the completed forms, the student will not be allowed to participate.

  • Colleen Doherty (A'15) Named FHSAA female Scholar-Athlete of the Year

    Colleen Doherty (A'15) was named the FHSAA female Scholar-Athlete of the Year at a banquet in June honoring the 24 members of Florida's 2015 Academic All-State Team. For her achievement, she received a $3,000 scholarship in addition to the $1,000 she received when she was named to the Academic All-State Team. (story continues)

  • AHNRC Freshman Quad Shines at Scholastic Nationals

    AHN's freshman quad, consisting of Mickey Carney, Catie Mofffett, Emma Heston and Julianna Wright, finished 3rd in a personal best time of 5:46.402 at the 2015 Scholastic Rowing Association’s National Championship in New Jersey on May 23rd. Click here to read more the full TBO article.

  • AHNRC Freshman Quad Finishes 3rd at Nationals

    AHN Rowing Club's Freshman Quad, consisting of Mickey Carney, Catie Mofffett, Emma Heston and Julianna Wright, captured 3rd place overall in the Scholastic Rowing Association's National Championship Regatta in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The boat turned in a personal best time of 5:46.402, easily outpacing the rest of the field of six boats in the final heat. The quad assumed their place in the final race by winning their qualifying heat by 3.5 seconds, approximately a half-length. Only 10 seconds separated 1st and 3rd place in the subsequent final.
