Dear Friends,
I am pleased to present the Academy’s new five-year strategic plan, Partnering for Tomorrow – Living the Holy Names Legacy. The plan is appropriately named having been developed as the result of a broad partnership among representatives of all of the Academy’s stakeholders—past and present parents, faculty, staff, administration, board members, Sisters of the Holy Names and students.
The Academy’s future is provided for in four areas. As you read through it, you will notice that while it is the product of an inspired, forward-thinking mindset, it does go to great lengths to ensure that we remain true to our mission, a mission based upon the charism and values of the sisters that has been formed over many years and permeates who we are as a school.
It will take a good deal of hard work to accomplish all that the plan includes, but those of us in the school are ready to undertake the task. We will not be able to do it alone. Our success will be determined in large part on the continued participation of the stakeholder partnership that came together to create the plan. Working together we accomplish what we set out to do—create a great school, respectful of our storied history and tradition, yet ever ready to face the future by adopting and embracing academic best practices.
Each year, as we accomplish the goals set forward in the plan, we will update you on the progress we have made as a school. We look to the future with great excitement.
Sincerely,
Arthur Raimo
President
